Photo Diary: Cream Silk’s Double Up Beauty Event

I’m all for wash-and-wear hairstyles. I hate getting hair styles that would entail me to have it blow dried or use flat iron/curling wand or do so many shenanigans with it before I can step out of my house. But when you have wavy locks that frizzes depending on how humid outside is, you don’t get to have much choice but to learn how to manage your hair woes just to get your best look.

I’m so glad Cream Silk is here to surprise us hardworking hair products that you can conveniently use as you take your daily shower.

As you can see, I have worn my hair just plain and long for the past 10 years. I don’t really experiment much with my locks. And since I have naturally wavy hair, it poofs up when I cut it too short.

Anyway, last Dec 2, Cream Silk gathered the press, along with beauty and lifestyle bloggers to witness an afternoon of beauty consultation with Cream Silk’s Beauty Experts. I arrived at the event at around 2pm, but I guess it was too early since the team was still setting up the venue. Since I got there a bit early, I was able to take some photos before people started coming in.

Here’s Filipina model Sarah Meier as our host for today’s beauty event.

Here’s Beauty Expert Raymond Santiago. As you may not know, he’s the hair stylist of Anne Curtis.

At around 3pm, a lot of beauty bloggers and familiar faces were already at 71 Gramercy.

Hello Mommy Shen!

Here’s Marj and Char.🙂

Here I’m seated between more beauty and lifestyle bloggers Ruth, Kaycee, Ava, and Ana.

The event highlights the benefits of using Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner. These conditioners in silver packaging is packed with two times more nutrients, as it combines the intensive care of a treatment and the smoothness from a conditioner in one, giving us girls two times more smoothness and shine, no matter what look you’re sporting.

To further inspire women to double up on their beauty, Cream Silk collaborated with four top beauty experts to share their insider tips on taking your look from good to great. Joining the team of experts are Agoo Bengzon, Peewee Reyes-Isidro, Rissa Mananquil-Trillo, and Raymond Santiago who shared their recommended must-haves and double-up beauty secrets including Cream Silk’s Daily Treatment Conditioner.

After the beauty demo, we were given a chance to consult the Beauty Experts on how we can double up our look from good to great.

Here’s multi-hyphenate Beauty Expert Rissa showing us how you can bump up your look with just one product.

Us girls didn’t leave empty handed. Aside from the beautiful curated box of favorite double up products, we were given a year’s supply of Cream Silk Daily Treatment Conditioner. I was really excited to use these and see the wonders it can do to my hair.

Fast forward to today, see how I’m wearing my shoulder length hair with a breeze! Yep, I’ve decided to cut my hair this short for the first time since grade school! And guess what, I’ve never had problems of it poofing out looking like cotton candy. Yay!

I’ve been using Cream silk conditioner ever since and this upgraded version is really better. It’s a treatment and conditioner in one. I love the smell too. My hair is so soft and smooth after usage
