Product Review: Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms — Enjoy 50% off until Nov 2

Although I love my Maybelline Velvet Mattes, I needed something that’s easy to apply even without a mirror. So when I heard that Revlon Colorburst Matte Balms are up on 50% sale this weekend, I made sure to bring home some with me.

It’s best to know the shade you like before going to the store since there were a lot of girls around the testers and it would take you forever to swatch each color. So, like a responsible beauty citizen, I did my research online and I have decided on the colors to get before going to the mall.

I initially wanted Sultry and Unapologetic but both were not available in Megamall branch when I got there this afternoon so I picked up Elusive and Showy instead. Here’s how it looked on my lips:

Elusive is a cool-toned pinkish-nude/rose colored lipstick, which is perfect for everyday use. But if you want to party it up a bit, Showy is a great color to flaunt with its vibrant magenta tone that instantly brightens up any look. What I love most about these lip crayons is the minty feel on your lips upon application. 🙂

Revlon’s Colorburst Matte Balms are up on 50% off sale until today but I heard it will be extended until Nov 2 (regular price is Php 575.00 each). Megamall still has some fresh stocks when I got these but they’re really out of Sultry. Most outlets are running out of 1 or 2 shades already so hurry! Oh, and word on the grapevine is that someone even bought Php110k worth in SM San Lazaro on its first day of sale. Talk about major major hoarding.

Anyway, go grab a shade or two, I’m sure you’ll love it, too! xx

Thank you so much for this post because I am looking for a lippie that I can give to a friend. I just hope I can still have good colors to choose from when I visit later at Revlon Trinoma. 🙂
