I’m not really into powder but I’d like to have something that can make me look presentable and fresh all the time.
When Maybelline came out with SuperFresh, I honestly thought that it was just one of those powders until I saw their demo–that when you actually spray water onto the compact, it immediately gets absorbed!
I was so curious to try it out. So as soon as I laid my hands on these, I took my alco-spray and did the demo myself. Such a curious cat.
So if it absorbs water on the surface, how does it translate to our skin?
I tried it out immediately and road-tested Maybelline SuperFresh for a day myself. I applied the powder on one-half of my face and left the other half bare.
By the time went home and checked myself, I was surprised that I didn’t see much difference between the two sides of my face. Maybe I didn’t have too much activities to really test out its mattifying effect–I don’t know! But, conceptually, I was hoping to find a matte-er side with Maybelline SuperFresh on my face.

i havent tried this out ms jirbie but im planning to get this instead of the new released from Loreal (maybe im considering the price) because both of them have great reviews on blogosphere and i want to try it my self =) im pretty sold for its price =)
I dont have super oily skin so I didnt see any drastic difference when I tried it. But, I agree, for the price, it’s okay.

I actually like this better than the L’oreal (sorry l’oreal). First, the price is more affordable. Second the powder is somewhat more sheer than L’oreal’s. I don’t want heavy coverage eh. And lastly, they both last long naman on my face so I would go for Maybelline. I have both of the products, but I think I’ll use up the Maybelline first. 🙂
