Product Review: Shiseido Lacquer Rouge in Dollface

I L<3VE LIQUID LIPSTICKS. Thanks to liquid lipsticks, I don’t have to deal with dry, chappy lips every after lipstick application. I loved my Maybelline Lip Polish and since that one’s a little too dark for summer days, I was looking for a nice and bright pinkish color for my second liquid lipstick.

And guess what, Shiseido’s got the perfect pink that I was looking for–introducing Dollface PK430.

Inspired by Japanese Lacquerware, one coat provides intense color and deep luster. This rich liquid lipstick leaves lips as smooth as lacquer. Applicator fits closely against the lips for a comfortable, even application that does not bleed. Lacquer Rouge improves dry, rough or peeling lips with continued use, leaving them smooth and deeply moisturized.

I love that this actually rolls your lipstick and lipgloss in one. Shiseido Lacquer Rouge promises to keep your lips kissable with Super Hydro-Wrap Vitalizing DE to seal in moisture. I have tried those matte liquid lipsticks but I find them too drying so I kind of stuck into these glossy types.

The formula is thick but smooth. It transfers a lot in mugs so you would have to reapply after eating and this doesn’t leave a tinge of color unlike Maybelline Lip Polish does. However, the color is just so vibrant and glossy. Plus, with Shiseido Lacquer Rouge, you get to choose from 30 summer-ready shades.

This gorgeous Shiseido Lacquer Rouge in Dollface retails for Php1,250.00 (6ml); available at your favorite Shiseido counter in Powerplant Mall, Greenbelt 5, Alabang Town Center, Trinoma and selected SM Malls.

I love the color, but the price is just too much. Haha. If I reapply everytime I eat and drink (which is a lot of times) I might use all that up in just a week.:/ But I would love to have even just one shade
