Yesterday was a day filled with happy thoughts and girly things as I was invited to attend Nina Ricci’s latest perfume release in the Philippines, La Tentation de Nina. ❤
Held at Poetry & Prose Patisserie in Shangri-la Mall, La Tentation de Nina‘s launch was more than just a sweet afternoon tea party. It was a celebration of Nina Ricci’s latest perfume addition inspired by a special raspberry macaron made by Ladurée.
It was a world full of pink and, I swear, it was a world that I fit like a puzzle piece.
Here are my blogger seatmates…
… taking obligatory product shots for our blog. 😉
Part of the activity during the launch was to guess the notes or scents included in the concoction of La Tentation de Nina. My guesses were pink grapefruit, roses, raspberry macarons, and cinnamon…
La Tentation de Nina is a fresh floral – fruity and gourmand fragrance. It smells like Nina macarons topped with raspberry jam, with lemon drops and rose flavor. The composition begins with citrusy notes of bergamot and goes into the heart of raspberry, almond, lemon and Bulgarian rose absolute, which are connected together in the macaron accord, softened by notes of Bourbon vanilla ,white musk and sandalwood at its base.
… and I was correct! Actually, La Tentation de Nina is a colorful mix of Bergamot, Raspberry, Almond, Lemon, Bulgarian Rose Absolute, Bourbon Vanilla, White Musk and Sandalwood.
But I guess being a girl normally drawn into citrus notes, the pink grapefruit was the scent that struck me first. 🙂
We were served with yummy pastries and tea from Poetry & Prose Patisserie.
I will be doing a product review on Nina Ricci’s La Tentation de Nina soon so stay tuned! 🙂
PS. Thank you so much Ms. Annick of Prestige Brands Phils. for inviting us.
