Just like when Yoona came to our lives, I remember telling myself that Pepper is enough to be my unico hijo. Lately, I find myself mumbling how having two cats is already enough–no matter how much I find myself gushing how cute kittens are whenever I scroll down the feeds of this cat group that I am part of. But I guess blessings come in the most unexpected time.
Last Friday, my beau and I rescued two new kittens. We picked them up from C5 overpass and took them home since we stumbled upon them crying for help under the scorching heat of the sun. This is how they looked like when we took them home.
We gave them water and food. Then gave them a nice bath and removed their fleas (using Licealiz). We had to isolate them first for a week before introducing them to Pepper and Yoona.
Look at how beautiful they are as they quickly fell back to sleep as soon as they were bathed.
It’s hard to turn your backs against these babies. My boyfriend and I found their mom crushed by a vehicle in the middle of the road as these kittens were on the side crying for help.
Look at them now, it just feels good to bring them in and give them another chance to live a better life. Now we have Pepper from EDSA, Yoona from “The Bronx”, and Twinkle & Star from C5.
We took them to MACE Clinic for their first deworming shot and checkup.
I have been preoccupied preparing for Pepper’s first birthday next week (May 5th). But I am just excited for all of them to finally play together and get along. Now I’m sure that Pepper will have a merrier kitty birthday celebration. ❤ ❤ ❤
By the way, before I end this post, I would like to invite you to support this cause:
