For the longest time, I have been using my Maybelline makeup remover to get rid of my stubborn waterproof eye makeup. I remember Maybelline was the first who came out with such makeup removers back in 2002.
I was so delighted when this package came in last week for me to do some product review. Bifesta Cleansing Lotion is a 3-in-1 lotion that removes make-up, cleanses and moisturizes without the need for additional rinsing. It’s water based so it’s gentle but a powerful makeup remover.
Previously known as Cleansing Express, Bifesta is claimed to be Japan’s first water-based makeup remover. BI means Beauty in Japanese and FESTA is an abbreviation of festival. Together, BIFESTA means Beauty Festival, a celebration of beauty where beautiful skin care can be achieved quickly, easily and joyfully with effective, fuss-free makeup removal.
Since the Philippine weather is getting humid, I used Bifesta’s Sebum Cleansing Lotion first since my skin has been acting up lately. To test, I put on full makeup today–complete with my stubborn K-Palette and Solone Waterproof eyeliners.
It’s amazing how all of my makeup is gone in one swipe! All the eye makeup, concealer, blush, bronzer, highlighter and lipstick are gone. What used to be 2-3 cottonballs of Maybelline makeup remover has been removed with just one cotton pad of Bifesta.
What I like about this product is that it doesn’t feel oily and it has green tea extract known for its anti-oxidant properties. Nothing but good stuff for the skin. Below is the full list of ingredients.
