Couchwasabi’s Top Met Gala 2013 Punk Makeup Looks

Here are my top picks for the recently concluded fashion gala that gathered the top Hollywood celebs in one roof with the theme Punk: Chaos to Couture. Since not everyone is comfortable in pulling off a punk look, here are a handful of celebrities that did a great job in bringing the right punk to Met Gala 2013 Red Carpet. In no particular order:

I super love Sienna Miller’s all around spikes. Must’ve been scary to sit beside her that night.

The classy Emma Watson may not embody the best example of punk. Maybe the single dangling earring is all there is to it, but her pretty face sure landed her on my list.

English fashion model Cara Delevingne arrived in her fierce, ass-kicking, bad-ass face.

Emmy Rossum went with her punky sharp-edged eyeshadow and her light pink lips.

Kate Beckinsale will always be my age-spiration. I love that she’s fab and 40. Her interpretation of “punk” for Met Gala is my kind of thing.

Super adore Lily Collin’s experimental eyes.

Love how Hailee Steinfeld’s youthful kick in being punk. She used deep green smokey eyes and her fresh face to pull off the look.

Another fresh faced in the bunch, Elle Fanning wowed us with her Jem and the Holograms inspired make-up look. Very 80’s punk.

Nina Dobrev came at the Met Gala in a caliente version of punk.

And the most grandiose of them all, Sarah Jessica Parker. I love her show-stopping mohawk headpiece. A toned down makeup look using neutrals is just perfect for the show.
