It seems that qwerty-phones are making waves nowadays. Recently, my|Phone has launched an event in Theatermall GH called Qwerty Invasion. There you can trade-in your old (working or not) phones to get discounted my|Phone units.
So now we have this cool dual-sim phone called Q19 Duo. It has built in social-networking apps, FM radio and LED light. This is currently the cheapest qwerty phone in the market, priced at Php 1,900.00
Now, at that price, it’s packed quite a lot–built in facebook and twitter apps. Seems like this can actually go head-on with Nokia C3.
Q19 Duo is a dual-sim phone that lets both network active at the same time–meaning you can receive texts and calls on both sims. The phone is really responsive and has an expandable memory. Battery life is great–you only need to charge every other day, considering that most dual-sim phones should be charged daily.
However, for those who love playing music from their phones, this might not be your best bet since the speakers really suck. Yes, the music comes off really loud, but it’s muffled. Other than that, for a 2k-and-below price group, the phone seems to be well worth your budget.
I know that many of us are still skeptical with China-made phones–though my|Phone pushes that they are a “Pinoy phone” (who are we kidding?). But I think, among the China-phones that mushroomed around the city, my|Phone is your best contender since they have the largest network of service centers. My|Phone is actually brought in my Sony Philippines, so the after-sales service is better compared to other China-made phones.
