This week’s episode of Gossip Girl features Jenny holding an HTC Touch. And we know that any gadget appearing on GG is always an ‘in’ thing.

I remember Jenny used to have a pink Moto Razr in the previous season… which, by the way, suits her kikay personality. So being caught holding an HTC Touch is really interesting. The white gadget somehow portrays a tech savvy, fashionista persona… and it’s making me want to own one!

Oh, and I just remembered, this phone was also the one used by Jerry Shaw in Eagle Eye, well the black version of course! Remember the scene when Jerry was in the train and the phone of the sleeping guy across him rang? This is the ringing phone!

I saw the green version of this handset, wonderfully named as Wasabi Green, and it’s currently my eye candy! It boasts the TouchFLO technology, much like the function offered by iPhone, and runs on Windows Mobile. This has wifi capability and all other great things packed conveniently in this tiny gadget.

I mean, it’s just nice to see a Taiwan handset brand to make it big time. I’m tired of seeing Motorola, Nokia, LG, and Blackberry… I guess it’s time for an Asian brand to hit it out there.
